Landmarks and Forward Momentum

Return Polymers recently held a company-wide picnic at Waters Edge Event Center in Ashland, Ohio, to commemorate 30 years of business. 

Three decades is a long time, and while we are all proud to be where we are today in a thriving partnership with our parent company, The AZEK Company, we know we’re not done here. There’s so much more we can do and so many more ways we can grow, as a company and as individual team members.

After a look back on the last 30 years, Return Polymers is looking forward to the next era in our company. A big emphasis for us in the coming years is improving our gender representation and encouraging diversity, inclusion, and equity throughout our company. Diversity makes us stronger.

We’re proud that 22.3% of Ashland, OH and 23.5% of Dowagiac, MI locations for Return Polymers employees are women. But we believe we can do an even better job of encouraging women in the workforce. With The AZEK Company, we’re excited to be launching AZEK’s Women Resource Group. We don’t want to just celebrate the women who have chosen Return Polymers as their workplace, we want to uplift and encourage them to fulfill their potential and aspire to whatever heights they imagine.

Our business is committed to making the world a better, more sustainable place through recycling PVC. In the process, we expect to make our own company a better, more flourishing environment. We also pride ourselves on 11% of our employees having English as their second language and 1,000 days without a lost time injury in our workplace. 

Here’s to 30 years of recycling excellence, and at least 30 more years of growth and promise. We know we'll get there!
